Barton had a wonderful mix of buses here is five of there double deckers including a few of there rebuilds.

JNN 793 No 453 and JRR 404 No 473being stylish Duple L55F bodied Leyland PD1’s at Nottingham Broad Marsh? and Melton Mowbray Bus Station respectively. JRR 404 is featured in the current guide of the Transport Museum at Wythall having been used as a touring photographic studio by Daniel Meadows before eventually passing to the museum for restoration.
WAL 781 No 781 rebuilt in 1957 a Leyland PS1 with Willowbrook L61RD bodywork it is seen at Asfordby on a local Melton Mowbray service.
797 BAL No 797 rebuilt in 1958 a Leyland PS1 with Northern Counties FL63F bodywork seen at Nottingham Broad Marsh?
907 LVO No 907 Barton BTD2 rebuild in 1961 with Northern Counties FL70F bodywork the chassis was ex-Yorkshire Woolen District in 1961 it is seen at Melton Mowbray Bus Station.

A nice selection there Les. The display at Showbus was quite something.
Prior to Showbus I visited the Chilwell event and photographed some interiors plus the 1911 Daimler with replica body.

Thanks David Slater for the link. Looks like I missed a big opportunity that day. Although one daughter lives in Toton I was not aware of the open day and cavalcade until after the event. A great collection of pics.
