Photos of my father with Northern General

Some bus photographs of my father and vehicles he drove. He worked for Northern General from1929 until 1973, prior to this he and my uncle had their own bus business in Hetton.

Early 1960s with his coach uniform on, they were nicknamed the ‘Chocolate Soldiers’ the bus is a Guy coach with an underfloor Gardner 6LW engine.
